Excellent Heater! Great Value!, October 29, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Fire Sense 46,000 Stainless Steel Propane (LP) Patio Heater w/Wheels I have owned several patio heaters over the years, and was not sure what to expect when I ordered this stainless steel Fire Sense model for a mere $229. It arrived 2 days after I placed the order. The carton was in perfect condition. I am a handy guy and have put several heaters together over the years so assembly for me was quite simple. Although I do have to say that this one went together quicker and with better fit and finish then heaters I have purchased in the past for 2-3 times the price!
The heater looks good once built and is really quite sturdy! Comes with built in wheels which make it easy to move to different areas of my patio. It took about 45 seconds to purge the air out of the gas line the first time I attempted to fire it up...But after the first time it lights up quickly!
The heat output is excellent! Units I have had in the past put out between 40,000-41,000 BTU's. This model puts out a toasty 46,000 BTU's and the difference is noticeably... Read more

Now we use it almost every evening!...We love it!....Keeps us nice and warm and it gives off a rather romantic golden glow once the sun goes down. It is very easy to start and heats up in just a couple of minutes. It seems to be well constructed and appears to be of very good quality. We are glad we purchased it.

The first one I purchased was a square Fire Sense model with a mocha finish for the courtyard which we were vere happy with. This model is stainless steel and goes nicely along side our SS bbq grill. The same friend that assembled our square heater put this one together as well. He said that it went together even faster then the square unit, and he was quite impressed with the quality considering that I only paid $249 for the unit. It works identically to the square unit in our courtyard and heats just as well.......It looks great and we are very pleased with the purchase!
